Well, what should I say, pretty self descriptive I guess. I've played this song looootsa times in church, and I thought Chris Tomlin transformed a great song into another beast.

Whistler out there, I know the whistle's a lil bit flat, can't help it. Oh, in case you're wondering, this whistle is tuned in Bb, and the same one that's used to play My Heart Will Go On.

The song's played in Eb, so of course since I sucked in that key, I have to suck it and transpose to Eb. So don't be fooled by the keys that I'm playing.

As usual, no music sheet, and happy kwanzaa! =p

  • Beautiful arrangement ! I really like the sound of your tin whistle too! Can you tell me what brand is your tin whistle? Is that a Key of C or D whistle? How much did it cost? Some whistles sound too shrill!

  • @vibranthope hey thanks, it was a generation brass Bb whistle, you can find them at various online stores, I think I got mine from thewhistleshop

The nickel whistle tends to shrill a lot, brass on the other hand tends to produce warmer sound that is nicer for slow songs. And of course, nothing really beats low whistle, =)

  • I LOVE this version on the piano! I am going through and trying to teach myself :) I have gotten to 0:51 so far haha, only 3 and a half minutes left :)

  • @OceanicViewStudios Haha, thanks, and good luck with your learning experience.

  • If possible can you send me your tabs for the tin whistle. I wanna play thins for my dad's funeral

  • There's also another version by Michael W. Smith :D

  • Beautiful!

  • AMAZING!! can you please do a tutorial?? thanks!!

  • Very well done. Little hint. Lifting that left hand index when playing high D even when it is just easier to hold it down can keep you from making that little "flub" sound. Definitely enjoyed that, thought.

  • Just Awesome!

  • i've watched TONS of piano covers, and none of them have stood out as much as this one did! its so smooth(:

gave me chills all the way through

    GREAT job! =)

  • Wow, this is so beautiful...it's like something straight out of an instrumental album:)
