Bonsoir Catin in Larose

Clips of Bonsoir Catin performing in the backyard of the Larose Civic Center for the first Festival du Coeur de Lafourche (Heart of Lafourche Festival) on 9 May 2009. Yeah, that's Anna Laura Edmiston of Feufollet pinch hitting for Christine Balfa Powell.

The camera work has a poor moment near the beginning of "Fais L'Amour dans le Poulailler" (Make Love in the Chicken Coop), but I had to include the Catins' smiles before the mess up. They were still surprised at the reaction Kristi's introduction of the tune generated from the crowd. They weren't expecting the bayou folks to recognize the song, much less sing along, but KLEB played the original almost every morning for decades (not so much anymore), usually because someone called in to request it.
