Good video. Do you find that the solid fuel cubes leave a messy residue on the pot ? I've tested these cubes in the past. They are light weight and last just long enough to boil water. They are also great for getting a hard to start campfire going. But the mess they leave on the pot was just unacceptable.
Thxs for sharing.

I have this exakt stove. Great for one person or as a backup emergency stove, but I agree that MSR Pocket Rocket (or such) is better (and bigger) and faster if You are cooking for more then one person.
Great video, thx.

Do you prefer this over something like an msr pocketrocket.

How much water did you boil in this demo?

@zakiwi1 about 16 oz or 400 ml.

If I were out in the field for a few days I would choose the MSR Pocket Rocket over this stove, only because with cannister stoves you can cook for a long time without having to add cubes every 8 minutes. Particularly if I'm cooking for several people, however this stove is *great* for a quick cup of coffee/tea or soup on the trail.

Hi nice video and very usefull, does a trangia stove fit inside the windshield?

@paraglide01
The Trangia stove fits inside the windshield, however, I'm not sure it would work because if I place the pot on the pot stand, the pot rests on the lip of the trangia stove. Esbit probably designed it that way so you'd have to upgrade to the Spirit Stove Set. They are both great stoves.
