Chiara Massini plays Couperin's "L' Art de toucher Le Clavecin" (Preludes I and V) on the harpsichord.
The instrument is a two manuals made by Joel Katzman.
Pictures by M. Geier (Algund) during a concert of mine in Italy.

  • nice interpretation...nice touch...and..wonderfull girl ! marry me chiara! :)

  • you are incredible!

  • Francois Couperin it is a peculiar Composer. I have listen the interpretation of G .Leonhard. In my opinion is a difficult find the right interpretation of his composition in the Art of Toucher ....since he had a quite rich ornamental style.

The performance of Chiara is excellent since it is clean and with the right balance between technical, filological ornament and feeling.

  • This so peculiar and wonderful "touch" of Chiara! This is MUSIC in all its beauty. Please, Chiara, play something of Carlos Seixas (when king D.João V, of Portugal, asked Scarlatti to teach Carlos Seixas, Scarlatti said:oh, no, it is C.Seixas who must teach me). With your soul and hands, Chiara, Carlos Seixas will be simply phenomenal...
