What needs to be understood is that hardcore has diverged and has been diversified by several influences outside of punk. So now we have different types of hardcore amongst few subgenres. Hardcore is hardcore no matter how you look at it, even if you say it isn't, it still is. If you wanna talk real hardcore, We talk about Breakdown, Negative Approach, Youth of Today, Sick of it all. These guys are a great band, they fall into the melodic side of hardcore like CBK, Bane or Miles away.

It just bugs when people say like NERR TERROR IZ TRU xHARCOREx and all that shit when it's fucking not, it's the least Hardcore sounding time period out of Hardcore history, bands these days sound alot morel ike hardcore than in the 90's and early 2000's, I wish they'd bring back slam dancing with the circle pits, they look soo fun, not the boring circle pits these days they were different then aha like I like all TDWP even BMTH but im open minded ha

@MetroidMills Exactly my point, dude.It's just that most people think that Terror are a hardcore band but not me.These guys here or Have Heart or Defeater and so on - that's what i consider to be hardcore.Or Minor Threat just to name an old band, i'm on your side and i have no idea why do we even argue, when your opinion is so close to mine.My point with the last comment was that the term hardcore punk is mostly used these days to describe the Terror-ish type of bands

@DrewFarmie2 In all honesty it doesn't matter what people look like, some people look like a scene kid or whatever yet listen to death metal, hardcore, pop music, rap, admittedly i was a stupid looking scene kid at one point it's just a phase man, says fuck all about who you really are, since listening to Hardcore i've found something that I relate to no depressing bullshit just straight up emotional, exertive and aggressive music, you can get a real feel in Hardcore which in most music.
