This is kindaa sad. Eh, its alright. I didn't really like it. Enjoyy!! :]

I sat on my bed, flipping through channels hoping to find something interesting. I sighed, nothing. I shut off the TV and looked beside me. I don't know why I always do that. I guess I just gain hope. You know, thinking.. Hoping she might be there.
So I could wrap my arm around her. Play with her hair, peck her lips every once in a while and have her smile. Her sweet little smile that I loved. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. I miss her.
I want my wife back.
I want my love back.
I want my Demi back.
I closed my eyes and began to remember the old times. When I used to sing her to sleep, how she'd smile her perfect smile. Look up at me with her big brown eyes, tell me she loved me then would fall asleep. I suddenly felt this sharp pain in my chest. I really do know what its like to have a broken heart.
I heard screaming and kinda sat up and yelled, ''Jade?!''
My little four year old came running through the door with her curls bouncing and her brown eyes filled with terror. She climbed onto our.. My bed and into my arms.
''Whats wrong, baby?!'' I asked her, worried.
''I had a bad dream..'' She pouted and hided her face into my chest.
''Aw, baby.. Wanna talk about it princess?'' I stroked her arm.
She nodded. ''I had a dream you went with mommy.''
I tilted my head, confused. ''What do you mean?''
''You went with mommy. Where you said theres pretty flowers.. Lakes.. Rainbows..'' She whispered, playing around with my top.
''Heaven?'' I choked up.
She nodded again. ''And I was all alone. And no one would come to me.. I was crying for mommy to sing to me..'' She looked up at me with her brown eyes watery. ''Like she used to.''
''Oh, baby girl..'' I pulled her into a hug as she cried into my chest. ''Shh..''
''I'm sure mommy would want to sing to you right now too.'' I tried to comfort her.
She shook her head. ''No! She doesn't like me. Thats why she went to heaven.''
''What? No! No, no, no, Jade! Thats not why she left, baby.. She just.. Was sick.'' I reassured her.
''So she did like me?'' She sniffed.
''Like you? Angel, she loved you. She loved both of us more than anything in the world.'' I kissed her head and rocked her gently.
She smiled slightly. And so did I.
''Will mommy come back for us?'' She asked. Still crying.
''No, baby.. But she'll be waiting for us.'' I pointed up. ''In heaven. When we pass away, we'll go to heaven too. And we'll all be together.'' I felt my throat grow a lump.
''Promise you'll wait for me daddy? Promise you'll go to heaven the same time I do? So I'm not alone?'' She asked, crying a little bit harder.
''I..I promise.'' I let tears roll down my cheeks as I held her tighter and we both cried together.
''And.. If that promise is broken.. Whats going to happen?'' She whispered, shaking.
I pulled her into a tighter hug. ''I'm going to watch over you.''
''Will you remember me when you're gone?'' She looked up at me.
I nodded. ''Yes.''

After a little while, when we both calmed down I rubbed her back.
''Okay, Jade. Time for bed.. Again, sweetie.'' I whispered.
She shook her head and nuzzled her face into my chest and mumbled. ''I'm not tired..''
I knew she was. I was going to have to put her to sleep like I did with her mother.
I began to sing Hello Beautiful. The song that I made sure Demi knew it was about her. Jade's eyes began to close slowly, while looking up at me and she smiled a small little crooked smile. Just like her mother.
''Is mommy looking over us right now?'' She asked.
I smiled and nodded. ''Yeah. She is.''
''I love you daddy,'' She whispered and fell asleep. Just like her mother.
''I love you too, baby girl.'' I lied her down under the covers with me and hugged her. She snuggled up to me in her sleep.
Just like her mother.
