Hyundai Sonata 2.0 with 164hp and maximum torque of 197Nm at 4600rpm costs around RM140k in price range; it’s one of the lightest, highest horsepower and least expensive of the three. Its body size is almost the same as Camry but 106kg lighter giving it a whooping of 116hp per tonne. With a six speed automatic tiptronic, it has an average fuel efficiency of 7.58l/100km which is good.

It sucks the Turbo version is only available in front-wheel-drive and automatic only. It should be four-wheel-drive and available with a DSG and a manual gearbox.

But, nevertheless, a 2.0 Turbo engine that produces 274 horsepower is a much more interesting proposition than another V6 engine producing exactly the same amount of power and being less fuel efficient.
