These original films of Cymatics experiments were made in the 1960's by Swiss scientist, Dr. Hans Jenny.

They are now available on a single composite DVD, entitled Cymatic SoundScapes: Bringing Matter to Life with Sound. www.cymaticsource.com

    no. He saaaaag it!

  • Looking at those spiraling clumps of matter I have to wonder: are galaxies a product of sound? Is the Universe structured by resonance? This is how life must have arisen out of dead matter in the first place ! If some of the planets in our Solar System were to vanish would the music of the spheres play on or stop? Would life on Earth then cease to exist? Is life exclusively a solar system phenomenon brought about by the music of the Sun and Planets? Thank you for this fascinating vid.

  • Well, THIS explains Crop Circles...I imagine that just outside of the human hearing range, are frequencies that can DO much! Thank you!

  • @deddokatana 'sound' is a much larger concept than simply the vibration of one's ear-drums.

deaf people still feel sound, experience pitch. it will actually effect all of your senses, but usually in such a subtle manner that one would never notice.

i've seen / tasted / smelled / "experienced" music in my younger days of experimenting with LSD. the fact that this direct 'bridging' of the senses is possible is a pretty huge deal, even if it's drug induced
