Cylinder block has been reinforced at the main bearing pedestals and main bearing cap. The pistons, pins, rings and conrods have also been uprated. The cams and annular valve seats are higher grade and the cylinder head consists of a new aluminium silicon alloy. There are revised flaps on the inlet tracts and there's a larger turbine wheel.
So yes. It's a simple chip change.
