Episode 1: So A Guy Is Walking Off A Cliff...

Roman has just attended his first conference on biblical evangelism...and besides the speaker he's the only one in the room. As awkward and self-conscious Roman gets up, gets out, and starts sharing his faith for the first time, he comes to realize that his best friend and business partner, Jorge, is his biggest detractor.

Roughly 150,000 people died today. How many died in their sins and slipped from earth to eternal torment? The Church has been graciously given the "cure" to keep people from God's just punishment and wrath. However, we simply aren't sharing the Truth or taking the Cure to those sick and living in darkness as we should. Roughly 150,000 people die EVERYDAY -- God's people must act. We must share the "cure" with the lost.

As Christians, we may think we don't know enough to share Christ with the lost; or we won't know how to answer questions people may ask us. Perhaps we are just plain scared. However, the fact of the matter is all of us are called to share the good news of Jesus Christ regardless of these perceived weaknesses. Through much prayer and seeking God's direction, Last Words Ministries decided to create a Christian comedy/drama television series to help inspire Christians to get up, get out, and share the gospel effectively with a sick and dying world; thus, "The Adventures of Roman and Jorge," a series of 30-minute video productions, was born.

The focus and goal of the series is to allow the Lord to speak to the hearts of believers through the fictional life and times of Roman and Jorge (pronounced "George"). Often hilarious and memorable, the series touches on circumstances many of us experience all too often when we think about sharing the Gospel with those around us—the doubts and fears, the time constraints with family schedules, and other such obstacles. Every episode of "The Adventures of Roman and Jorge" presents the Gospel in a clear and concise way without apology or compromise.

Our prayer is the Lord will use "The Adventures of Roman and Jorge" to mitigate fears and convict and encourage believers to share the only Cure there is for a world living (or rather dying) with the terminal disease of sin.

The Lord has opened many doors and made it possible for Last Words Ministry to complete the first three 'pilot' episodes of "The Adventures of Roman and Jorge." We trust many people were blessed by watching these 'pilot' episodes when they aired on JCTV as well those who purchased the DVDs through Living Waters.

We believe there are untold millions of Christians who may not take the time to read a book or listen to a message about biblical evangelism. However, many of these same people will absorb the teaching contained in every episode of "The Adventures of Roman and Jorge." The program is truly unique, there is nothing like it and it fills a huge evangelistic void.

Now, Last Words Ministry must turn its attention and resources to creating additional episodes. The goal is to create four all new episodes by mid-year, 2012, and to attract the attention of Christian television networks, such as TBN and JCTV to air the new episodes.

To cover production costs for four new episodes we must raise $50,000 before the end of the second quarter 2012. Great show that demonstrates some of the anxieties and issues that sometimes take place when carrying out the Great Commission to a lost and dying world. The writers and actors are the real deal who have a genuine passion for sharing the true, Biblical Gospel to the unsaved. This is a wonderful program that needs to be seen in churches everywhere.
