Rep. Mendoza: Burris should resign

supposing u have a politician running 4 office (any office, mayor, congress,prime minister, whatever..) if they told u "vote 4 me& i'll raise yr taxes, have a couple of affairs & funnel sum taxpayer money into my re-election campaign. BUT..I will run a good government. would u vote 4 them, or would u vote 4 sum1 tells u what u want 2 hear during the campaign knowing that they wont b able 2 keep all their promises. and u must vote 4 1 only, no spoiled ballots. who gets yr vote......

Why do we as Americans expect politicians to be honest now? When Bill Clinton lied about having sex with an intern, most people winked and smiled but the economy was good.... Honesty should always be applauded and dishonesty should always be shameful, it is certainly not anymore by the large masses....
