Mal Sharpe is one of my heroes, a real inspiration to me with his man-on-the-street filmmaking and audio work. You can find him at http://www.coyleandsharpe.com/
Or if you live in the SF Bay Area, be sure and see him every Sunday at Enrico playing trombone. Please give him my regards if you do.

This clip reel was a tribute included in our DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB FILM AND VIDEO FESTIVAL at the AFI Theater February 5, 1990 at the Kennedy Center in DC. I'm Jeff Krulik, and I produced this short video with John Heyn. Together, we made Heavy Metal Parking Lot in 1986.
hey jeff, i loved this whole video. the guy who matter-of-factly plops the fish on top of the newspaper machine was great...a man who does not shock easily. he also doesnt care what his hands smell like. use your imagination. btw, where is the part of mal's video where he walks into a Motel on Lombard St with his lover, an inflated sex doll? That bit was hilarious. Maybe you could edit it in, or add it as a separate bit. russ
