Hehe, still, we cannot be shure at all how Josquin directed this song in the flesh. Maybe when he heard the Hilliard ensamble he'd yell: "You donkies! That's not how it's supposed to be sung!"

@Weaselflink Try The Art of the Netherlands (2 CD Set) - The Early Music Consort of London, David Munrow. Recorded already in 1975 I think, but verrry good. In fact one of my all time favorite classical recordings.

This is my favorite Josquin motet - many thanks for posting this excellent version of it.
In singing and interpretation of music from this time period and style, I have heard no group better than The Hilliard Ensemble.
