Food: crushed pellets
I have been feeding them with live brine shrimp for the first 2 months since they came out before slowly introducing them to crushed pellets. Now they mostly eat pellets and i occasionaly give them brine shrimp for some variation.

Sidenote:
There is a lot of daily maintenance done to this bucket to keep the water quality good.
The fish wont stay there for much longer though. Their 55 gallon new home is almost finished. Once they grow more most of them will be given to friends and family.

  • @ThePhreakzKururu yup...it'll turn black, i have one myself like that it used to b like bronzy goldish

  • the others eat the babies yet?

  • @Pop12646Okami Awwww well all my fish get along at the moment so hopefully i never end up with a no eyed goldfish Xp

  • @ThePhreakzKururu Lol, well, it's good to know that they're doing okay! :D

They probably got into a fight with another fish. I watched a video of a no-eyed goldfish that was attacked by a gang of koi.

  • @Pop12646Okami I just found them at the pat store like that Xp It kinda looks like they had a nasty accident :/ The whole side of their face is kinda scared up but they both swim and eat very well. They are fun to watch Xp

  • @ThePhreakzKururu Aw, I hope they're doing okay. :) Did something happen to them, or were they born like that?

I actually have a platy who had babies and one of them was born with one eye missing. He actually swims faster and better than the other ones, but his head is half the size, and it's hard to eat.

I just need to give him extra care (more work for me xP but it's worth it, right? :D

  • @Pop12646Okami Xp Yeah I have 3 rescue goldfish. My other two are one eyed. A Shubunkin and a telescope.

  • @ThePhreakzKururu Yeah, it was probably just water temperature, then.

It's good to know that Pudge is doing okay :)

  • @Pop12646Okami He accually turned black after I got him home and put him in my tank. He was younger so it wasnt the from him being older. Im guessing it was from the water in the tank of the pet store. Hes nice and healthy now though =P I named him pudge

  • @ThePhreakzKururu Well, there are three explanations: 1) The water temperature is warmer than they need, which is fine if it's just a couple degrees over. 2) it is a crossbreed of a black moor and an orange goldfish. or 3) it is turning gold because of aging (which is completely normal)

If it's a crossbreed or it is older, then it won't change back, but he might if the color change is due to higher temperature.
