Karma (カルマ) ~guitar~ - Tales of the Abyss (テイルズ オブ ジ アビス)

Karma by Bump of Chicken, used as the OP song for Tales of the Abyss, the game and it's anime adaptation. The first time I heard this song when I played the game, I said "oh wow..so this is is how an awesome guitar instrumental song sounds like", and then I kept replaying the OP again and again before starting the game.

Speaking of the game, it's a very good one. The story is not to my liking (war between kingdoms and stuff), but this one is pretty interesting. With a great cast of characters, and awesome battle system, the game can last you for hours.

I wish I can say the same for the anime adaptation though.. Dropped it because it's boring. Maybe it's because I already know what's gonna happen. A question, should I pick up the anime again, even though I know the whole story?

Anyway, Karma is a pretty hard song to play, maybe the hardest I've learned on the guitar so far, due to the fast speed and all. And as always, mistakes are present in this video as well ^_^

I wouldn't pick up on the anime again if it's the same exact story. i read all of Full metal Alchemist and then tried to watch FMA:Brotherhood, and i lost my place entirely because i've seen everything in the manga, and wasn't sure what i had and hadn't watched. e.e

I think the anime's great, and it matches the story and feeling of the game and characters almost perfectly, which is very rare in an adaptation of a game. Definitely give it another go! =D

Pretty good for being played by ear! The first part though from 0:16 - 0:23 sounded off as well as when the notes repeat at the end of the song- maybe it's just me.

It is a WONDERFUL game though. I love it to death~

And I suggest picking up the anime, especially if you didn't understand things like how the radiation and absorption gates work together- they show diagrams in the anime.

To to mention there's bountiful rappigs when they gang goes to see Peony <3
