My first guide went out prior to the discovery of the 567 armor cap and there has been several questions about what perks are really needed to get what specific percentages to make the best tradeskill items.

This video is a followup to part 1, that shows exactly what perks are needed for alchemy and enchanting, as well as what steps need to be taken in order to build the gear set that allows you to smith and enchant the best possible [legit] weapons and armor.

This is for those who are still learning the process and don't fully understand all the basics in episode one. Thank you for watching!

Elven armor will be up soon.

  • Well, *fullstory*, I have head, neck and gloves 25% that I created using console command, the ring I tried to enchant it then I could only get it to 20% without any help of gear. I have enchanting 100 with ~ALL~ Perks. When I equip everything and drink the potion it goes to 23%, then i repeat the process. My potions are 30% more enchanting and even with it the ring cannot go higher then 23% no matter how much i repeat the process. any tips??

  • @Waraji258 - patch 1.1 or higher?

  • I actually have the same problem as Reginolde. I have all 28 percent but my potion is still 30 percent. I have 80 in alchemy and i have all the relevant perks, the 5/5, and the next two. Do i need to get to 100 to add the extra two percent or something?

  • @sulihpoehtok yeah get to 100

  • @Lacota137 now the console command to get the base damage of bows I don't know. Sorry. If you find out let me know =).

  • @Lacota137 for the perks you will have to cheat like crazy. You need to be low level so even though you are level 40 with the command "player.setlevel x" you can get the number of your level to 1, note that you don't get any perk setting you level, then what you need to do is level up. The best way to get level ASAP using console command is to level up a skill, you can use "advskill *skill name* X " then you get more peks

  • Interesting. How did you give yourself so many perk points?

And also, does anyone know the console command for increasing the base damage of bows?

I found ones for unarmed and melee damage, but nothing for bows yet.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • @Waraji258 so you dont have a necklace ??? in the video he says you need a necklace too.....

  • @SparxCarnival same for me :/
