The search for the third member of a U.S. climbing party who went missing in Southwest China continues today.

The bodies of two fellow climbers have been found. The three climbers disappeared last month while trying to scale the 21,000 ft. Mount Edgar, or Mount Gongga in Chinese, in Luding County, Sichuan Province.

The body of Jonathan Copp, 35, was found on an ice sheet about 8,000 ft. below the summit on Saturday June 6. The second body, which has not yet been identified, was found yesterday about 330 yards away. The body is likely to be that of either Wade Johnson or Micah Dash. Friends reported the trio missing to the U.S. consulate in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, on June 4.Three American climbers arrived yesterday to help with the rescue effort.

Copp was one of the founders of the Adventure Film Festival. Mount Edgar is the highest mountain in Sichuan province and only 24 people have successfully climbed to the summit, while 22 have died on the mountain.
