what difference between proportional and gain?

Proportional governs how much torque correction there is. Gain governs how sensitive the helicopter is to changes in torque.

Depends on which way the tail drifts. If it goes to the right it needs more proportional and/or gain. If it goes to the left it needs a bit less.

If i were you trx.....i would go with the coco lama v3! Thats how i learned 4 channel! I had only flew on simulators and a 2 channel helicopter! The lama vs is very stable and can go at a slow pace...so you can learn and fly as difficultly as you want! I can fly it soooo slow in my living room...and i can hover it now! I have probabaly gotten only 10 or so flights in! And i am perfecting it!!
