    I'm sorry, but how is it going to spoil views? Views of what? From that angle at 1:22 you could still see St Pauls, Tower Bridge and just out of shot would be the Tower of London, you couldn't see Westminster anyway because its behind the buildings that are already there! And people know what the famous sights look like now, i'm sure most people would consider the Shard as a wonderful view, Just like St Marys Axe and Canary Wharf when they were built.
