What he forgot to tell her and the reason why she had a hard time was she was trying to keep her elbows to her side, when Your'r doing a drag your elbows can't be at your side but just alittle ways in back of you behind your back.

I thought it was the wider you go on barbell curls the more you hit the inner part of the bicep (short head) and the closer grip you hit the outer biceb (long head)

No doubt about it. Vince was way ahead of his time as a trainer and educator in the eorld of bodybuilding and physical culture. .

This demonstration looks more like a regular barbell curl as the bar does not drag in line with the body.
He's a genius.

Vince Gironda was famous for being a real bad ass trainer. Don't expect some friendly warm bubbly Richard Simmons type..
