The album SHASHA DZENGOMA is an album that created to pay tribute to the greats of Zimbabwean music. Super Magamba wanted to give respect and revive some of the popular peoples songs from yesteryear by updating them for the hip-hop generation.
Super Magamba as a group is made up of lyricist Tarambanapo aka Mwanawamyi and singer/lyricist Mushumi aka Soko Murehwa, as well as featured singers Tongai, Eugene, Anne and producer Farai.
The lead single is the dance track Nyama Yekugocha which the group insists will become the national anthem for all Zimbabweans, whether at soccer or other sports games such as soccer, as well as on radio and in the club. The track has got that irresistible hook Yowe-rere! Yave nyama yekugocha hook that any Zimbabwean would be familiar with.
