what if miss. philippines wear a traditional igorot attire.. with that traditional tapis, topless with just beeded necklace to cover her boobs and 6pots on her head.. hehehe and a gong.. isn't it different? they might get impressed with the fact that she can carry 6 pots on her head.. hehehe and the guts to face people wearing only necklace.. hehehe

the designer of Miss. Philippines' national costume is not filipino so do not expect it to be as authentic and genuine filipino.. im sure he did it quite wrong because he wanted filipino not to win the national costume ...

i'm a Filipino and i don't see any Filipino features in that.. they could've just stick with the original maria clara.. and what a color, PINK.. and with the headress.. we don't have that as far as i know.. it's over-designed! that's the only thing that i can say.. that dress isn't in our culture..

bb. pilipinas mas change their way on choosing the representative for each international contest.They have to consider the real beauty of filipina..which is unique..like for example gloria diaz and miriam quimbao both of them are not so beautiful but they won....
