  • Thank you very much! You have a lovely accent, by the way.

I'm concerned that, since French is a little difficult in terms of pronunciation, people may not understand my accent.... :(

  • @MsTiffsickle Thank you Tiffany, nice to hear that. Well, yes, French pronunciation is difficult: there are sounds in French that don't exist in English, so it takes some time to learn to make them. The good thing is that when you will have learnt to make them, every time you speak French, you reinforce what you learnt in terms of pronunciation. The opposite (the situation where you keep mispronouncing a sound and do it over and over again) is undesirable, though.

  • thank u :)) Merci...it;s really helpful:) My mother tongue is Georgian,it's really complex language, perhaps you've heard :) I know Russian and English, and French seems the hardest after Russian :)

  • @Tamito777 Hi Tako! Good to know you liked these videos. Yes, I saw Georgian writing - it looks complex but beautiful. By the way, do you know how many percent of people in Georgia speak Russian and how many exclusively Georgian-speaking people there are in Georgia?

Well, French is similar to English in terms of vocabulary, as this video shows, so it makes it easier. But grammar is different (although it's similar to that of Spanish, Portuguese and Italian).

  • @antonkunin Thanks for your answer ! Actually Russians influence over us had been pretty strong till 90ties ,as we are Soviet Union's former country, so Older generation knows it really good, and as for my peers we are intermediate at it. so i can say about 50% knows it completely. And sorry i didn't get another question, what do you exactly mean in exclusively? :(

  • @Tamito777 Interesting! Oh, and don't worry - I used "exclusively" to mean "only", so you answered my question perfectly, that's what I was interested to know. Thanks!
