Oh dang, I once had a customer say "New York" at least 30 times (literally) at work one day, and I jolly near wanted to slap the make-up from her cheeks. Cheers to Elane for having the courage and fed-uppedness to do this. X3

The point is that Elaine thinks the woman is so clueless, so obnoxious, and way too far gone to ever have a chance at changing herself, and she hates the party and pretty much everyone there except Jerry, so she decides to dispense with social conventions and with her fear of weirding out the other guests and says the dingo nonsense purely to entertain herself and out of curiosity as to what the woman's reaction will be, and also just as a way to immediately end the interaction with the woman.

its because the other woman said "I have lost my fiance' THE POOR BABY"

so thats when Elaine says that, its a joke aimed at older people who would get that reference about the dingo eating the baby which happened in real life in the early 80's in Australia and was a reported world wide there famous footage of the mother saying "the dingo ate my baby!" while crying. i hope tha sort of explains it... it was before my time but im in australia and that event is part of local history here.

@Fugsy07 Elaine says it in an aussie accent because in the 1980's an Australian women actually claimed a dingo ate her baby. It was all over the news and Elaine is copying the woman by putting on the accent.
