The worst set of aircraft hoses ever seen. Video of surprise and amazement at condition of aircraft hoses. Leaking oil, leaking fuel, leaking hydraulic fluid - and you might be a passenger!

  • U guy's are a bunch of idiots, if there bad change em if there good leave em, all hoses need to be changed at ov'haul, I think piper has a 5 year recommendation. To many cheap basterds out there running with the same hoses at engine change......along with same mags, carb and engine mounts. You new a/p's beware of the many gotchas from cheap owners that

will blame you when there engine quits.

  • I, as a new A&P/AMT would (underline) never pass those hoses my conscience wouldn't let me. I would except my firing/resignation from the company that would want me to pass this crap... I will have my name on the logs if the plane fell out of the sky and I don't want to have blood on my hands, because of a part that should of been recalled or in the 1960's failing..

Thanks again for the video, John!!! I really love your Mechanic's tool box program that I purchase a couple of yrs ago....THX!!!

  • Can you make any better?

  • shit...the fire sheilding looks dirty! oh no!.............ive seen worse. what they come off?

  • @DrMotorDude That's bureaucracy for you... cause more problems than they are intended to fix.

  • FEAR and misconception about FARs have caused more of this than most people realize. Those of us with sense know better. The "If it aint broke.." should include "The FAA said, 'Thou shalt not deviate from the original part number, color, shape or AGE" so Imma keep on runnin' EXACTLY what was on the original airworthiness certificate - my I/A said it's a mortal sin to change anything."

  • This is great! Thanks John.

  • How many annual inspections??

    Pre-flight inspections!!
