From the long-established discount chain's twilight years...don't miss their "Dollar Days", especially w/Mother's Day just around the corner!

  • I miss Woolworth. Got me thinking back to the one in Torrance, CA's Del Amo Mall. Its location was bulldozed soon after Ward's folded, which left no anchor for the northeast wing. But when a Fallas store on La Cienega was getting remodeled, the old Woolworth facade appeared underneath. So cool to see.

  • Bill Gronroos, Brunswick GA! The voice of this ad. Worked with him in the mid 80s-90s at WGIG and other Brunswick legends.

  • Loved WoolWorth's. We had one in Las Vegas. 2 stories and connected to the Boulevard Mall. Very '60s Mod-style. Closed up shop in the mid-90s here. Great Ad!

  • Great commercial,I only knew of two woolworths stores back then where I live, and they're both gone. I miss woolworths and all those other great stores back then.

  • I only seen one Woolworth in a mall down in Denver and this was when I was on vacation. The Woolworth in my town had closed down months before.

  • Thanks for the memories! There was a Woolworth in the former Capitol Court Mall here in Milwaukee, and I remember it was always PACKED!
