Rangers suffer their first home defeat of the season, despite the deflected goal scored by Dave Mitchell - later to play for Australia against Scotland in the World Cup. Frank McDougall won the game with his tenth league goal of the season.

  • frank mcdougall was one of the best strikers scotland ever had it was a shame his career was cut short by injury to his back when he was 28 he was a lengend why he didnt get the scotland call was shocking the manager then jock stein was would always look to glasgow for that beats me why the countrys top scorer cant get a game for his country
