  • The engine cases are red because I painted them with Glyptal. This is a paint that helps oil shedding. This has been done for years with High performance engine builders. I paint Glyptal on all my internal engine cases.

  • No clutch rattle on this engine. You may want to check to be sure you have the proper clutch stacking height as well as friction disks and pressure plates not worn beyond min tolerance. Also check clutch springs to make sure they are not worn. If they are they are pretty cheap and easy to install.
