Anne & Gilbert - PM's Love Theme (Love Actually Soundtrack)

... Yeeeeah, it's all Love Actually's fault. XP

I am obscure with my videomaking; there are some I have to work on for months, even years, and then there are others that only take a day to think up and complete. This is one of the latter. What is WRONG with me? o_O

Anyway... got into Love Actually again, which is one of my favourite romantic comedies for a lot of reasons, and I ended up with the soundtrack again, coming across this song that I somehow missed on previous occasions. It's beautiful, isn't it?

This is also inspired from the Sound of Music video I found to this song done by Gueibi. Come on, you knew I had to do an Anne/Gil vid at some point, didn't you :P The audio was hard to work with, 'cause the score is so loud, which is why some of the original audio sounds a bit fuzzy... but hey, s'not too shabby nonetheless. I guess this is how one would promote the couple on TV or something, 'cause like the Sound of Music one, this reminds me of a trailer. Still can't believe I did this in just a day...

This music reminds me so much of a "red rose". The symbol for "love triumphant." This is the best love theme ever and so fitting for the lovely Anne and her wonderful Gilbert Blythe! :D

@LilbunUWiz you're welcome! :D and thank you for telling me that I described the "atmosphere" of the score so well; I haven't seen Love Actually yet, however I deeply want to solely because of this gorgeous score. I also think that it's amazing that composers can by only employing sounds, can create images in our minds that are just so perfect, and truly, I think this entire piece is essentially the summation of "love triumphant." Anne would be proud. :)

@DiegoRedeemedLover I've thought the same thing about vidding in general; that people can shoot and apply clips and present them in a manner that matches the accompanied music perfectly. It's sort of an unofficial goal of mine I suppose. There truly aren't that many scores that match the romantic glory one hears in this music.

You really must see Love Actually, though - definitely one of the best rom coms and a classic adult Christmas film ^^

I have to admit that... every time, when I watch this video I burst into tears... I read 'Anne of Green Gables' 10 years ago, whan I was 8, and I still back to this book. This is amazing... Megan and Johnatan aren't just actors... they're Anne and Gilbert.

@queenmab23 Thank you! Yeah, it would make sense to add the wedding scene from the third movie to truly seal the relationship, but I am not a huge fan of the third one at all so I lack the clips XP
