Colon Cancer PSA

Paula Ries was 30 years old when diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer with no family history. Since then has had 2 recurrences and is currently on liquid nutrition (HPN) due to a tumor blocking blood flow to her small bowel resulting in having to have her entire small bowel removed. While that sounds hopeless she is currently a full time Costume Design Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University proving that no matter what you go through in life to never lose sight of your dreams.

Please get screened at 50 or earlier if you have a family history of colon cancer. While she would never trade the insights that she has gained from having cancer your health is the most precious thing in your life.
