Librarian's Blues

This is a blues song about . . . well, listen to the lyrics. As a lark I wrote this song about overdue library books. Maybe only librarians can relate. Written, performed, sung, and played by Keith Johnson. But don't blame me. The "B-B-B-Bad to the Bone" reference is from a George Thorogood song of the same name. Thanks for the comment Chris. I think the world would be a better place if we were all librarians, although a bad blues-playing librarian (or librarian playing blues badly) is probably pushing the limits of acceptability.

Thanks Earth person traveler. I appreciate the comment and your very forgiving approach to the song. It was the very first video I ever put up on YouTube, so I wasn't sure if non librarians would get this. I assume you're a non librarian since you're an earthtraveler. Librarians are always stuck in the library, so we're not much for earth traveling...just YouTube posting, I guess.

Hi Haliowns: thanks for the comment. I'll try work up something in the way of harmonica 'tabs' for this, although it's fairly standard John Lee Hooker type of repetitive riff, and there's a lot of faking and pretending that I actually know what I'm doing. So if I give you the tabs, you'll have to fill in a lot of the blanks with your own pretend riffs. Give me some time and I'll try send you those tabs, at least for the basic harmonica riff.
