@germanicelt "Got its sound." Very well put. Here I thought that I was the only one who recognized '82 as being the key year of '80s music "getting its sound". That's when the "Thriller" album came out; although, I realize there was so much than that. British New Wave bands were exploding in popularity, which is what I loved and why I'm here. My favorite year for '80's albums is definitely '83, which was the peak for great music of that decade, in my opinion.
