im playing this song in my school orchestra and we just got the piece of music. It seems kind of hard. But we'll learn it! We're also playing M to the Third Power, Dramatic Essay, and Pavane.

Wow, can't believe no one responded to that after five months.
Well, it's too late to go now, but if you want to go next year, you would have either the harp major or the band major (as a percussionist). I don't think they have harpists in the orchestras, but they have the separate major for it.
Minors are completely unrelated to your major, you can choose just about whichever one you want. In fact, you don't even need a minor, some people use the time to relax or practice instead.
