  • The second best method for motivating public school students is to empower them to liberate themselves from compulsory attendance by demonstrating competence on exams. Not only would students actually be learning as motivated by their self-interest, but the public expense of education could be reduced.

    The best method to motivate public school students is actually the elimination of public schools.

  • The real problem with education is motivating the kids to learn in the first place. Education today is merely putting a band-aid over a case of terminal cancer by paying cash for good grades. having said that, I'm all for bribery, be it treats or toys or privileges. However, the point remains: the primary problem is the curriculum. A bunch of A-grade kids who know nothing about history, science or grammar is NOT success.
