you slipped the queen between the ace cards. when you made the queen disappear the first time, you kept the last ace card with the queen.
and the queen was turned the opposite way.
so you open the deck andyou show the ace, the queen was beside them.
then when you flip the aces, you flipped the queen as well, so it would now face the opposite side.
right?
