'Merry-Go-Round' was Susan Fassbender's third and final single release in January 1982. Sadly, the single failed to chart.
As with the previous 2 releases both A and B sides were written by Susan Fassbender and Kay Russell. Production was by MIke Howlett.
The B side to this was 'Reasons' which I've also uploaded. From what I can remember 'Merry-Go-Round' was about unemployment which, of course, was big news around that time. Sorry for the slight limiting on this audio.
Since posting this audio WJMTV has uploaded the studio performance of this single from Multi-Coloured Swop Shop. I recommend you give it a watch!
@frankgallagherwasere I think this version is fine. When there's several versions of the same song, I tend to like the version I heard first, as you become accustomed to it. I'd be delighted to hear the demo, though

it never got anywhere cos the Band had broken up Susan was out her head and the single was over produced and nothing like the demo - which was a lot better. The final cut is too clean, it lacks the kids laughing at the end. One day I must dig the demo out and upload it.
