Most black have BIG MOUTHS, almost all of them are blabbermouths. It's not always trash talk. It's using the media to get the ball rolling so you can do some business. A fighter will often duck, but if the media spotlight is put on him, that makes it harder for him to keep ducking you. Also, many fans like fighters that have outgoing personalities rather than bland guys who don't say anything and aren't entertaining unless they're fighting. Talking is a way of selling yourself and your fights - that's what Ali did.

@flshstar1 - Why not let the world know that you want to avenge a close decision that you feel you won against Casamayor when you were undefeated? A closed mouth don't get fed - that's why a baby cries. Fighters like Cotto will say "you have to ask my manager" when asked who he wants to fight next. If Cotto wanted to fight Floyd, he should've called him out. Hatton called Floyd out & got the fight.

@boxingfan86 Furthermore, Aaron Pryor fought at 140 his entire career. If Aaron Pryor wanted a piece of Ray as bad as he would lead you to believe 20+ years later, why did Aaron never move up to 147? Cuevas wouldn't of even been competitive against Leonard.
