Rand Paul speaks to a large crowd (over 300 people) of gun-rights supporters at the state capitol. Many of the attendees were armed, and a comparable number were wearing Rand Paul stickers. In this video, Dr. Paul demonstrates his support for the Second Amendment, federalism, and limited government. This pro-gun rally in Frankfort is part of a grassroots effort that will end up in Washington, D.C. next month.
This footage was actually shot on my backup camera, so adjust picture and sound as needed.

Rand Paul is an absolute asshole!

@muthafukinsunofabitc Switzerland also has many guns, all of which the government knows about because there is no criminal black market for them. Although I am the first to admit that more guns isn't always better, and that people commit murder with guns, government banning guns is a far worse option, because it creates opportunity for a criminal black market to emerge, and those are the people who are dangerous.

Rand Paul:
"you might have to indirectly take into account whether or not they’ve been going to radical political speeches... But if someone is attending speeches from someone who is promoting the violent overthrow of our government, that’s really an offense that we should be going after — they should be deported or put in prison."
So he goes stand shoulder to shoulder with these thugs and doesn't want to be thrown into jail base on his own unconstitutional protocol? Fuck you Paul.

@JNagarya then idiots assume they obtained there guns legally and want to infing upon the right to bear arms in a failing attempt to reduce crime. I assume that you are pro democracy? If you are then you should be anti guns, why? beacuse a citizen armed can prevent tyrany and extreemism, thats why a disarmed nation was turned into hitlers moulding clay. Like i said you may diagree with what the SC says but then no one cares what you think.

@JNagarya misinterprited the seconnd ammendment, now i asume you are anti-gun?, also guns arn't left lying every where in schools on the streets in shops, thats LA and ironicly one of the places with the highest gun regulation, and even if its not a constitution al right (which it is) and samne socioty realises that giving the people, the law abiding people weapons to defend them selves helps law and order, why? criminals still get hold of guns, even in gun hating countires like the uk and kill

@JNagarya so a dude with and eduaction in law writes in pointless capitals? Put it like this people have owned guns sceince(and proabably before) the constitution was writtin it was not an individiual right, there would be cowboys and indians, and no free america, but the fact that it isn't a right that has been clalled into question by false liberals who don't know what a liberal really is, also "people" is individual, and if it isn't it means everyone, now you like many liberals have

@JNagarya They engaged in gun confiscation?!? That's a lie and I don't believe that until I see legitamite article or document. They had just fought a war, if you read papers of the founding fathers, you would know that were in favor of guns. And it can be seperated because of the comma. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." See the comma there?

@Fallout3Follower It can't be seaprate from the Well regulated militia becasue the SUBJECT of it is the militia. And agiain: Constitutional provisions are implemented by means of statutes. The Founders/Framers themselves not only regulated gun ownership, they engaged in gun confiscation. Public safety TRUMPS your individual tight nonsense. Guns have been regulated since the advent of guns.
JNagarya 10 months ago
@TheAlexagius Constitutional provisions are implemented by means of statutes. The statutes stipulate that the militia -- obviously of the Second Amendment -- will be WELL REGULATED. NONE of that has anything to do with "individual" anything, because neither "militia" nor "people" is INDIVIDUAL.
The legal authority on what the authors of the Second Amendment meant are the words of those who WROTE it -- not the extremism of activist SC judges.
