  • Arrow bags? never heard of? do you make them your self or? how dos it look like show us,sound smart and inexpensive god tip for archers?

    MK

  • @Greyarcher1 its a waxed linen bag with a leather spacer and cordage sling. most hold up to 2 dozen bodkin point arrows. the top of the bag cinches around the fletchings to protect from weather. it can be worn over the shoulder or across the belt. they are inexpensive and very useful. but i would probably make them for less than what reenactors sell them for.

just look up medieval arrow bag on google and youll see :)

  • Hi there! your nock point is a`bit High,do a bare shaft test! and se" Greyarcher1" about your Quiver problem?

  • @Greyarcher1 what makes you think that? never had a problem with my quiver actually lol. i shoot from arrow bags. best quiver i ever used. not so great for broadheads. but i shoot mostly bodkins and armor piercing heads so it doesnt effect me much.

  • I love how you can see the arrow coming towards you and hear it hit the target. How heavy is your pullback? I own A 50 lb. pullback recurve and I have a hard time with it haha.

  • this ones 40-45, got a 50 pounder on the way. i hope to one day get up to warbow poundages. but im a small guy, so it will probably take a while.

  • @JohnTheRipper2 i can do that still, not to easy anymore because of a hand injury but i can, go to my page and watch the only video on my page it will explain why i cant shoot heavy bows that well anymore but i still shoot 45# bows well, i have 7 45# bows longbows and a 80# and 68#, im slowly working back up in poundage its been a while since i was able to shoot now that i can im trying to shoot as much as possible to get back where i was but its a slow process anyways good shooting take care

  • Thanks man i will look it up ;-)

  • @JohnTheRipper2 kool ive been doing it for nearly 3 years and ive only got a 45 pound longbow but saying that iv never tried to bother anything more lol

  • @griffingeo 'bout a year. Since i posted the previous comment my draw weight increased considerably. I shot a 62 pounder and thought it was a 35. I guess i can now easily pull 70+ lbs, even though i'm skinny (5' 11" and 144 lbs). Not bragging or anything, well.. maybe just a little :D

  • @JohnTheRipper2 how long have you been doing archery for ?

  • lol robin hood
