with good traing and good breeding this loving breed is awsome i prefer adopting dogs but they are not humane agressive unless trianed to be and when trained right WILL TOLERATE AND EVEN PLAY WITH IOTHER DOGS BUT IF YOU HAVE A LIL LA DOG BE CAREFULL BECAUSE EVEN MY LABS GO AFTER LIL YIPPIE DOGS THAT NEVER SHUT UP

Believe it or not black hearted individual with that same mind set you displayed in your little posting are the ones responsible for all the media hype surrounding this breed.

I was considering purchasing one of these animals for a companion/protection animal. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding proper discipline. My main question has to do with the selection of a lead pipe that I could use to hit the animal in the head when it latches on to someone. Is there a formula for determining the diameter of the pipe? Does it depend on the weight of the dog or is it a "one size fits all" application?

Great video. I 'm on my second pit now. I have owned several different breeds of dogs and a pit is by far the most loyal intelligent and loving dogs i have ever owned. I will never own another breed. I got the one i have now at six weeks old. you have to get these dogs early and socialise them heavily with people and other dogs. His brothers and sisters are all dead due to neglect and fighting. I understand that people have been attacked, but the blame lies with the owner not the animal.
