I went 7-9 in Week 2 for a grand total of 20-12 for the season.

Still plenty of football left to play though.

  • haha, i'll admit it, sanchez is a major cutie.

but he's also a great football player.

  • cowboys win or wade is out i dont blame romo at all they dont use him right oh and jason garrett needs 2 go 2

  • Exactly. Now, I don't mind teams throwing in a couple of Wildcats in a game, just to keep the defense guessing, but no team can center an entire gameplan around it. And that seems to be what some of these teams are thinking.

  • Like if N.O. ran multiple wildcat plays, it would be weird, because Brees is breathing down Brady & Mannings back-(you said it best, "Brees is the man"), & they have guys that they could use 2 take a direct snap out of the wildcat-(Bush, Bell, Colston, Henderson, Meachem, etc.), it wouldn't make sense, because their QB is running the offense damn near perfectly right now as it is. I'm watching NFL Pregame as I type this, & I'm eager 2 see how many plays Vick gets & how successful he'll be in them

  • That's why with all the explosive offenses in the NFL---you rarely ever see them use the wildcat. There's nothing wrong with using it with athletic players-(ex: Percy Harvin-Minn, Ronnie Brown-Mia, Felix Jones-Dal, etc.), but I could just picture the Colts lining up in the wildcat, & having Peyton Manning run a hitch & go route-(can you imagine how Indy fans would feel if their franchise QB got his head cracked by a devastating hit downfield because they chose to run a play out of the wildcat?

  • Good point. That's why when we ran all those wildcat plays in the preseason I wasn't happy about it. For one thing, 2 see McNabb split out wide while Vick takes the snap is silly, because you run the risk of a safety or a corner hurting our franchise QB-(playing bump & run, or just playing physical). Let's be real, if I'm a defensive player, & I see the Eagles in the wildcat with McNabb split out wide, I would assume it's a safe bet that he won't get the ball, he's just a decoy.....
