how is gas spring ?

I did purchase the gas spring version of the Whisper .177 about a year ago. I used it for about 100 shots and by then it had destroyed my scope and also my dovetail mount. The powerful force of the gas spring hits so hard when the gun fires, that it was forcing the scope back little by little. My final shot with the gun actually shattered my scope lens on a shockproof scope. I also tried using a scope stop mount with no luck. I sent it back and got a refund.

isnt it supposed to be smother and recoil less ?

Recoil is normal for a spring air rifle which the Whisper comes with stock. Any powerplant will always have some type of recoil no matter how slight, even pcp air rifles. As with Newton's Law, "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." The gas spring has a "kick" to it which is very violent in my opinion. I would not recommend using anything other than iron sights with a gas spring.

where do you get jsb predators at? do you order them

I get excellent accuracy from my Gamo Whisper X using .177 10.38gn JSB Heavy pellets. On a good day I can get them into 1/2" ctc. My gun likes the 4.52mm head size. BTW are you still active with your vids?

What kid of scope do u have ??? Is the Gamo 39by40Ao scope good??i have a that scope .i have problem I just mounted the scope When I was looking in the scope I could see the iron sights throw the scope is their someone wrong what I did .CAN SOME ONE HELP ME

@SteVeYG215 so you're shooting at 15 yrds and you're telling me to group at 50 yards.. so what you're saying is that if it was out that far your grouping would be bad..?

how for are you shooting from the target ... i have a gamo whisper with the gamo 3-9-40 scope its hard to sighted in good and when i have it almost right it stops shooting good all over again ... could you help me out please .. if you could send me a message to my inbox that would be great thanks

Great accuracy the predator polymags are my favorite pellet alongside the crosman premiere hollowpoints.
