Yes indeed, Bo could hypnotize, paralyze, anesthetize or energize. A classically trained violinist, frustrated percussionist, former Golden Gloves boxer known for fancy footwork & a hard one-two who literally wrote the Genesis-Chapter for Rock n' Roll Rhythm Guitar playing. At some point in every show he would demonstrate this versatility as in this excellent raw video, pounding out some heavy kick drum grooves & uninhibited dancing. Ellas McDaniel, one of the few legitimate "Originals" of R&R.

How can the voters at Rolling Stone Magazine rank Bo # 37 and Hendrix at # 1?

I almost cried watching these videos.. I was lucky to see Bo live and receive an autograph after the show.. my only regret is I didn't ask for a guitar pick...
seeing him play the drums was fantastic, this video kills.. Thank you so much for posting it..

Incredible
Last song of the set. Bo starts by missing all the strings on a strum! He gets into a wild version of "Hey Bo Diddley", then plays the drums and then dances. Remember, this was in 1981. The bulges in his pockets show that he didn't want to leave his wallet or money in the dressing room.
