They do well in pretty much any environment as long as they have the basics and have attention, love, exercise, etc. Just like any breed, they need training, socialization, good nutrition and attention. These dogs are very intelligent and easily trained. They get pretty big so training and socialization when they are young is very important. If you are not home often, spend long hours at work and don't have anyone to check on a crated puppy, then don't buy ANY dog.
