@LeighMet Every individual has genetic differences (look up the term 'SNPs') which can be alterin protein structures (proteins are in most cases the target of drugs). Such SNPs can alter protein structures and thus lead to different reactions to the same medication in different people. Just because one individual does not experience adverse effects doesn't mean nobody does...

SSRI causes hallcuination. Psychosis is the medical term for hallucination. SSRI is only effective on 60% of the population. I have a medical degree and when you study pharmacology this is stated in our textbook.

First of all Ritalin is not a SSRI. It is speed or amphetamine. It doesn't cause hallucination.
SSRI does and I know. I was medicated with SSRI 20 years ago and hallucinated big time and it was worse after the withdrawal. I tried to warn people about it and finally someone like Michael Moore reveals the truth.

@LeighMet Have you researched any of the info I gave you or are you still going to fight me on this? Do what you want.Im telling you my story and the absolute hell "I" went through and what I've researched for 4 1/2 years. I would of prefered to of been a herion addict then go through what I went through. Period!!!! Ritilan, and every antidepressant and benzodiazepine and for that matter quinolone antibiotics KILLS!!

Xanax and the hypnotic Ambien have just the opposite effect. They make you sleepy and tranquil. Zoloft and Prozac are bad drugs. I never liked SRRI's, but the Benzos and Hypnotics at least rid you of any unhappy thoughts. With Ambien you just go into a pleasant dream world were all worries fade away. Zoloft on the other hand puts you into a delusional state. Has anyone ever had those awful brain zaps from Zoloft. Keep it simple by just exercising and taking Xanax. Take Xanax XR that works 8hrs

@LeighMet Why are you on these DRUGS? Have you ever tried coming off? Eventually these DRUGS will not work (they dont work anyways , your just brainwashed into believing they do) I thought these drugs were the shit until I tried coming off. It is called withdrawal. While i was in withdrawal , i was homicidal and suicidal. google ssri stories, benzo withdrawal, paxil progress the ashton manuals , do your own research. save your life.

@LeighMet It hardly seems fair to yourself to declare that you need to be medicated for these reasons when you have not given yourself a chance to try life without meds. for well over a decade. You are 33. You have been medicated more then half your life. You should really start looking for alternatives and Stop being a cash cow for the pharmacutical companies. Google those web sites. Prozac awareness is another one.
