If anyone could and should hold out for money it is Sam Jackson. The man has put his dues in Hollywood and if anyone would help draw a crowd it's Sam Jackson. He deserves the extra money.

Agree Burt Landcaster would probably have made a better Nick Fury than Hasselhoff how is Hasselhoff old enough to be a World War 2 veterean?

@pubsterguy I was looking forward to Misfits of Science and Covering Cross and they were both big let downs, also Lost in Space season one was pretty much straight scifi but 2 and 3 they turned into a commedy and was a let down. They also did this to Star Trek with Trouble with Tribbles and Harry Mudd episodes.

@hydrolito Oh I forget to mention I really was looking forward to the Batman series when it 1st came on , Man was I dissapointed , I hated the series , it took over 23 years before they got it right !!

@hydrolito I really didn't like hasselhoff either ha ha You probably think I'm just hard to please but hasselhoff I thought was too young for the part despite his dyed sideburns, I thought somebody ( but not neccessarily only him ) like burt lancaster or there abouts

@pubsterguy At least When Hasselhoff did it they died his sideburns so he'd look the part. I think Sam is a better actor but doesn't look like the Nick Fury from the comic books dating back to the early to mid 1960's. Batgirl in the comics was a blonde but then the Batman tv series started at new batgirl who was a redhead so was weird as use to a blonde. Then when everyone is use to her being a redhead they come out with Batman and Robin movie with her being a blonde again why?

@hydrolito Well for starters he's from what I remember, to be crusty grumpy older guy from Hell's kitchen with more of a new york accent . People get all upset because people think it's racist, That's bull shit I'm just going by my memories as a kid who used to wait for the next Nick Fury agent of shield to come out .. I wouldn't want to see brad pitt play in a movie playing Paul Robeson , get my point ?
