Sunday May 30, 2010 at approx 8:30 p.m. We filmed what should have been an arrest in progress but turned out to be something else. What do you think, should this man have been arrested? He admits to hitting the woman (although he adds "I was defending myself") and offers an apology, and yet he was not arrested on the spot until other officers who came on the scene who saw the error and then took after him after veiwing this video on a cell phone. On the scene were MTA employees, including an MTA Supervisor as identified by an MTA Employee who acknowledges the officer, and also pedestrians who may not have witnessed the inncident but were present at some point during this recording.
We are strongly in support of all good police officers and citizens who don't just sit there but do something when women are attacked in public or sexualy harrassed in public.
Maybe if she wasnt acting like a ghetto bitch, slapping her hands together with 18 fucking kids by her side... then the cop might have believed her...

no man should EVER be jailed for allegedly touching a woman... if she can provide some proof then ok... but other than.... that shit is too subjective and too much power for one person to have...!!!!

@Sisleti I believe this was made up to continue the division between the sexes.

How inept and apathetic! The officer clearly doesn't care about this sister! We have to stand up for ourselves, NO one is going to protect us if we do not.
