I think they just posted the vids for all the old timey footage contained in them.. not for subject matter. I found it pretty interesting even if unrelated.

this reminds me of folk and Scottish country music with a wee (little) touch of sea shanty music I used to hear all the time growing up here in Scotland in the sixties, along with the all the other great sixties music, this is fantastic.

This music must have come through hundreds of years. It has a flavour of an old English or Scottish music. I believe that the performance is quite near the traditional.

love the opening with the boat.. also like garcia/grisman's "off to sea once more" really captures the old hard reality that i feel off of this song
