Finding Nemo - Act I

The Starfish Country Home School Foundation is a completely free private school founded by Dr. Richard P. Haugland which provides educational opportunities to needy children in the north of Thailand.

As part of the curriculum dance is used to provide focus for artistic expression, confidence boosting, a structure for working together and to have fun.

Nemo is the third ballet that they have produced and is directed by Arsama Tamee, a teacher at the school with no previous experience of ballet, with the support of other teachers and staff. Arsama also makes all the costumes and sets.

Dance is used as it does not require the language skills that theater or singing performance need. We hope you enjoy the performance.
