"The Magic of You"
Written by Ralph Rainger,

Rumba is a 1935 musical drama film starring George Raft as a Cuban dancer and Carole Lombard as a Manhattan socialite.
The movie was directed by Marion Gering and is considered an unsuccessful follow-up to Raft and Lombard's smash hit Bolero the previous year.

  • They make a beautiful couple so smooth, elegant, and charming. Excellent! Cinema is such a wonderful invention; such a wonderful gift!

  • ecapital46 - There's no call to be snippy! I said "nearly as good"! I greatly enjoyed Carole's & George's performance and was giving these two long gone stars a compliment! Good grief, find something usefful to do with your time than make nasty remarks!

  • i cannot believe torville and dean danced this exactly to perfection to win countless awards, medals, and if there olympics, and never said,so sad, we believed it was made up by them,i'm sorry, you should have gave credit where due.

  • I could not take my eyes off George Raft. Sigh...so smooth and attentive. He must have been a real ladies' man.

  • @stlgtrace lol I've seen nothing here from this guy that would allow him in the same room with Astaire, much less be anywhere near as good. That was pretty funny, you should continue to write comedy.

  • Beautiful! A perfect couple! Nearly as good as Astaire and Rogers and certainly every bit in not more as good looking!

  • They danced so beautifully & Carole did wonderful, no doubles in this (as in Bolero in some scenes). She did great! Thanks so much for this- I loved it!
